The Muslim-majority country of the United Arab Emirates has many beautiful mosques that are designed in many ways.

To further enhance the beauty of these mosques, the UAE government has launched a new initiative.

Under this step of the UAE government, more than 10,000 trees will be planted in mosques.

This step in the country has been taken by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, General Authority of Islamic Affairs, jointly launching a tree planting scheme in mosques.

The initiative to plant more than 10,000 trees in mosques is part of the national 'Plant the Emirates' program.

The largest number of acacia trees is found in the UAE. However, no information has been given yet about what type of trees will be planted under this scheme.
