Khan Sir celebrates Raksha Bandhan with 7,000 rakhis and feast

Faizal Khan, more popularly known as ‘Khan Sir ’ for his game-changing online teaching classes that have helped thousands of poor students across the country get jobs, was carrying a record 7,000 rakhis on his arm that were tied as a mark of love and respect by his women students on the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

In return, Khan Sir hosted his students in Patna. In the images posted on social media, ‘Khan Sir’ is seen with his entire arm supporting Rakhis tied by his students.

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival, and, also - popular among other Indians – in celebration of the brother-sister bond.

People shared images of Khan Sir wearing a plethora of Rakhis on his arm on X:

Khan Sir has turned to coaching for competitive examinations for jobs and made it affordable for the sections of society who found such courses beyond their reach. He charges only a fraction of the amount charged by the big brands and thus institutes changed the scenario.

The viral clip shows hundreds of students waiting in long lines to tie rakhi to "Khan Sir".

Last year some 10,000 students attended the Raksha Bandhan  'Khan Sir' organized Rakshabandhan celebrations at his coaching center in Patna, which was attended by over 10,000 students. 

In this video, Khan Sir is seen celebrating the Rakhi festival with his students on a grand scale.

Apart from a Pizza Hut stall, students are seen enjoying, rice, dal, roti, papad, pickle, chutney, raita, etc.
