Mahakumb is fast turning into a festival of unity of Indians

As against the perception floated by vested interests that Muslims have been kept away from the world’s largest religious congregation Mahakumbh at prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Muslims are not only coming to dip themselves in the confluence of Ganag- amuna and mytical Saraswati at Sangam Triveni  but also rendering professional and voluntary services for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

Many common and well-known Muslims participated in Mahakumbh which has occurred after 144 years to show their faith in tradition, the festival has turned out to be a confluence of the unity of Indians.

A Muslim youth who took a bath in Mahakumbh said why he should not be part of this major congregation that is part of his tradition:

Awaz featured the life saving action of Farhan Alam of Prayagraj who gave timely Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to as devotee named Ramshankar and saved his life.

Alam said it was his duty but he is earning appreciation and love from devotees in the mahakumbh and online for his action.

During Maha Kumbh, local mosques have been opened for pilgrims where they are also being served food. A student of Allahabad University shared this video of Muslims opening mosques for pilgrims on X:

Kafeel Ul Rehman shared another heart-touching story on social media. In this video, a Muslim man, wearing a beard and cap, was seen distributing food items to the devotees of Maha Kumbh.

Sharing this video on Facebook, Kafeel wrote, “This video is from Raushan Bagh area of ​​Prayagraj, where due to heavy crowd, many devotees are stopping and resting wherever they find space.

This video made it clear that during the Maha Kumbh, not only religious sentiments are being exchanged, but by helping each other, people are also giving the message of brotherhood in the society.

In another video locals on the periphery of Prayagraj have opened their ghomes for the pilgrims to stay and take rest.

Local mosques have been opened for pilgrims where they are also being served food.
