The President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Swami Smaranananda Maharaj, died at 95 due to age-related ailments on Monday evening according to Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.

Swami Smaranananda Maharaj became the 16th president of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission in the year 2017.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on the death of the President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
