The charming and super talented Mohammad Faiz from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, emerged as the winner of Superstar Singer 2, the singing reality show on the SonyTv, in the grand finale live telecast on Saturday night.
He received a Trophy and cash prize of Rs 15 lakh.
It may be mentioned that the final results are based on the voting by the audiences.
The finale of the most popular show has six finalists: Mani from Dharamkot, Punjab, Pranjal Biswas from West Bengal, Sayisha Gupta from Mohali, Aryananda R Babu, and Rituraj from Kerala.

Mohammad Faiz, 14, was mentored by former Indian Idol runner-up Arunita Kanjilal. Mani was announced as the runner-up, and he won Rs 5 lakh.
Speaking to the Pink Villa portal after winning the show, Mohammad Faiz told that everyone in his family was “very emotional and they had tears of joy rolling down their cheeks when my name was announced as the winner. Like me, even they are slowly letting this news sink in."
Superstar Singer 2 is judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali. The host of the show is Aditya Narayan. The singing reality show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
Mohammad Faiz is a trained singer who played instruments too.

During the show, videos of his songs went viral on social media.
To the audiences, Faiz appeared to be handsome, talented, affable, down-to-earth attitude, and a committed singer.
Speaking with one of the portals on entertainment, Faiz once said, “whether I win the trophy or not, I have to continue my singing. That is important for me. I am nothing without music.”
Mani,11, on the other hand, is a natural singer and rendered the most challenging numbers with ease on the show. He was also hosted by actor and MP Hema Malini at her home since he belonged to her husband Dharmendra's village.

Aryananda Babu, 14, and Rituraj, 8, from Kerala stole everyone’s hearts with their singing of the Hindi numbers as both are non-Hindi speakers. Aryananda could hardly speak Hindi while Rituraj’s pranks and energy and his broken Hindu amused everyone watching the show.
Sashiya Gupta, 7, was the youngest contestant on the show and showed her absolute command of all genres of music.
