Mumbai:

The sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was nothing short of a grand spectacle, marked by electrifying performances, heartwarming moments, and the presence of Bollywood's biggest stars. The event, held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, was a night to remember, with pop star Justin Bieber, superstar Salman Khan, and the Ambani family themselves taking the stage.

Pop sensation Justin Bieber set the stage ablaze with his high-energy performance, making Anant and Radhika's sangeet extra special. Dressed in a jacket, white vest, loose pants, and his signature cap, Bieber interacted with the guests while performing his hit songs, including 'Baby', 'Never Let You Go', 'Love Yourself', 'Peaches', 'Boyfriend', 'Sorry', and 'Where Are U Now'. Videos of his performance quickly went viral, capturing the joyous atmosphere of the evening. Bieber, who arrived in Mumbai on Friday morning and departed early Saturday, left a lasting impression with his dynamic performance.

Adding to the star power, Salman Khan took the stage alongside groom-to-be Anant Ambani. The duo performed to Salman's iconic song 'Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai' from the 2000 film 'Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega'. Salman, dressed in a black suit, drew the loudest cheers of the night. The chemistry between Salman and Anant was palpable as they made a powerful entry on an ATV bike and captivated the audience with their dance moves. Salman's presence and performance were highlights of the sangeet, adding to the festive spirit of the evening.

Not to be outdone, Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with their family, delivered a heartwarming performance to Shah Rukh Khan's popular song 'Deewangi Deewangi' from 'Om Shanti Om'. Nita Ambani, clad in a pink lehenga, showcased her Bharatnatyam moves, while Mukesh Ambani wore a navy blue kurta pyjama and matching jacket. The couple, joined by their four grandchildren—Prithvi, Aadiya, Krishna, and Veda—added a personal touch with a video featuring them lip-synching to 'Chakke Mein Chakka' from the film 'Brahmachari'. This performance not only entertained the guests but also highlighted the close-knit nature of the Ambani family.

The sangeet ceremony was attended by a constellation of Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Hardik Pandya. The Ambanis ensured that the event was a blend of entertainment and tradition. Earlier in the week, Mukesh and Nita Ambani organized a mass wedding for the underprivileged at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar on July 2. This was followed by a spectacular Mameru ceremony on July 3, adhering to the Gujarati tradition where the maternal uncle of the bride visits her with sweets and gifts.

The main wedding ceremonies, meticulously planned according to traditional Hindu Vedic customs, are set to commence on Friday, July 12, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire. The celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, culminating in the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, on Sunday, July 14. Earlier this year, the couple hosted a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, which saw a star-studded guest list from around the globe.
