On the occasion of Bakri Eid or Eid-ul-Azha, a blood donation camp was organized by the Muslim Satyashodak Mandal. This tradition has been going on the 13 years. The donors can be from any caste or religious community and the purpose of the organizers is to give social relevance to the religious festivals.

This year too, the Muslim Satyashodhak Mandal started a state-wide blood donation drive with like-minded organizations, keeping in view the scientific approach and reforming the traditions. Between 29th June and 5th July, this program will be organized in various cities of Maharashtra at collective and individual levels by the Rashtra Seva Dal in Pune.

Blood Donation was conducted in Nath Pai Auditorium. This campaign is being welcomed in the Muslim community and such programs are being organized all over Maharashtra.
