After death threat, Salman Khan applies for gun license

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has applied for a gun license in view of the threat he has received from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The Mumbai Police issued a statement to this effect: “Actor Salman Khan applied for a weapon license for self-protection at the Mumbai Police, after he received a threat letter.”

In this connection he also met the Mumbai Police Commissioner.

Notable Salman and his father received a death threat on June 5, just days after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead.

The letter with death threat to Salman was found by the actor’s security team outside his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

A day later Salman’s lawyer too received a similar letter. A police complaint with the Jodhpur police has been filed by his lawyer in this regard.
