The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has hailed this budget as the new flight for a self-reliant India, and a guide for the country’s economic independence and growth.
Shahid Sayeed, Media In-charge of MRM, described the budget as a representation of the aspirations of 140 crore citizens of India. He said, "This budget is a unique fusion of economic reforms, development, and good governance. From providing relief to taxpayers to investing in the agricultural sector and expanding loan facilities for small businesses, every decision ensures India’s economic strength and prosperity."
He praised the special focus given to education and research in the budget.
He said, "This budget announces 10,000 fellowships under the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship Scheme, which will give new direction to research activities in IITs, IISERs, and IISc. Each researcher will receive an annual research grant of ₹2 lakh for five years, making India’s scientific and technological innovations globally competitive." Prof. Akhtar called this initiative a historic step that will strengthen research in India and enhance the country’s role in global technological leadership.
Additionally, he described the decision to connect government schools and universities to digital connectivity as revolutionary. Under the Digital India mission, every government school and primary health center will be connected to broadband, making online education more effective. Prof. Akhtar mentioned that reforms in higher education and the promotion of digital education will make India's youth globally competitive.
dr Shalini Ali, In-charge of MPM's Women’s said the budget was a significant step toward women’s economic independence. "It provides women entrepreneurs with loans up to ₹2 crore without any guarantees. This scheme will play a crucial role in making women self-reliant and empowering them economically."
Dr. Shalini Ali appreciated the policy reforms to ensure the safety of women in workplacesidence. She said changes in then maternity benefits etc. willl provide opportunities for women in India."
Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, MRM National convenor, praised the facilities announced for theo MSMEs and startups. He said, "The government has increased the loan guarantee cover for small and medium industries from ₹5 crore to ₹10 crore. This will provide easier loans to small and medium entrepreneurs, enabling them to expand their businesses."
Rizvi also mentioned that loans of up to ₹20 crore will be provided to startups, offering young entrepreneurs the opportunity to contribute to the Self-Reliant India Mission. He described this initiative as strengthening the startup revolution in India, which will create new employment opportunities for millions of young people.
Dr. Majid Talikoti, MRM’s National Convener, appreciated the reforms in the healthcare sector. He said, "The customs duty on 36 medicines for cancer and other serious diseases has been abolished, providing relief to patients from expensive treatments. Additionally, the government has announced the establishment of cancer care centers in every district over the next three years, making healthcare more accessible."
Dr. Talikoti said the addition of 1.1 lakh new seats in medical colleges over the next 10 years will make expand the reach of healthcare services. He said that this budget will bring a revolutionary change in India’s healthcare sector and make medical facilities more affordable for the poor and middle class.
