Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in India and most parts of Asia on Friday.
This was announced by Shahi Imamof jama masjid, Delhi, Syed Abdullah Bukhari as the moon was not sighted in any part of the country.
The announcement came at the end of the meeting of the authorized committee that decides on the basis of the reports of clerics from other cities as well.
Syed Bukhari has wished the people of India for Eid-ul-Fitr that will to be celebrated on May 14.
Eid that comes at the end of the month of Ramazan during which Muslims across the world fast and pray, is also being celebrated across the Arab world on Friday.
