As his coffin was unloaded, people chanted slogans such as “Jab tak suraj chand rahega, Hilal tera naam rahega” and “Hilal, tere khoon se inqilab aayega."

Security forces recovered the bullet-riddled body of Hilal Ahmed in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Wednesday.
