A ‘fidayeen’ (Suicide) terrorist belonging to the dreaded Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) was nabbed from along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
The suspected terrorist was nabbed from Nowshera sector in Rajouri district after army personnel noticed suspicious movement. On being confronted he started running back to the Pakistani side of LoC.
The Indian army opened fire and injured him. Thereafter, he was moved to the Army hospital in Rajouri.
The ‘fidayeen’ has been identified as Tabarak Hussain. On interrogation by the Army, he has admitted to being part of a suicide squad that aimed to target army installations in the state.
Tabarak revealed he underwent six-weeks training at a Lashkar camp near the LoC in Bhimber. He also admitted to be being associated with the ISI for two-years.

This was his second attempt to cross the LoC. Earlier, in 2016 he was arrested from the Nowshera sector and sent back after serving 26-months in jail.
