India, Nigeria NSAs finalise areas of cooperation in fighting terrorism

National Security Adviser Ajit K. Doval and his Nigerian counterpart Nuhu Ribadu identified specific areas in which the two countries can cooperate to enhance their fight against terrorism in all forms.
 
This happened during the two-day Second Strategic and Counter-Terrorism Dialogue between the two countries. Nigerian NSA is currently visiting Delhi.
 
The two NSAs held in-depth discussions within the framework of the strategic India-Nigeria partnership on threats and challenges emanating from terrorism, extremism, and radicalization, including through cyberspace, as well as from international crime, arms, and drug smuggling.
 
Doval and Ribadu identified specific areas of cooperation to enhance their fight against all forms of terrorism. They reiterated their firm belief that "there can be no justification for terrorism in any form or manifestation."
 

They also agreed to enhance cooperation in bilateral capacity building and strengthen cooperation in the international arena.

NSA of Nigeria also visited the National Security Guard in Manesar, Haryana.
