Indian Army Dog 'Zoom', who underwent surgery after getting injured in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag, passed away on Thursday.
Zoom, was under treatment at the Advance Field Veterinary Hospital, Srinagar.

‘Zoom’ had received gunshot wounds during a combat operation in Kokernag, Anantnag district.
The assault dog was a part of Operation Tangpawas's combat team.

Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists were killed in the operation. Besides ‘Zoom’ two soldiers were also injured in the encounter.
