Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha today visited the family of the martyred J&K Police officer Humayun Muzamil Bhat.
Sinha along with the Chief secretary Arun Kumar visited the residence of Bhat at Humhama, Budgam where he met members of his family including his father retired Inspector general of J&K Police Ghulam Hassan Bhat.
Besides Humayun Bhat, Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer, 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Ashish Dhonchak, and a soldier were killed by the terrorists last Wednesday.
The terrorists fired when the Army and Police party was on way to the jungle hideout of the lashkar-e-toiba terrorists in Anantnag district.
The operation is continuing on the fifth day.
Sinha said he assured the family of all assistance and support from UT administration.
