Young children of Jamia Millia Islamia's Mushir Fatima Nursery School have celebrated the festival of Janmashtami, the birthday of Hindu deity Lord Krishna on Friday.
The children of Mushir Fatima Nursery School had come to their school in uniforms. Their teachers were ready with crowns to dress some of them like little Krishnas. The children looked happy in their roles.
The teacher spoke to the children about Lord Krishna and his life. After this, a photo shoot of the children dressed as Shri Krishna was arranged.
These pictures shared on the official Facebook page of Jamia Millia, are being liked by people.
It may be noted that it’s for the first time that the school with predominantly Muslim students has celebrated Janmashtami.
