Maulana Mahmood Madani, president of the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday, claiming the lives of 26 innocent tourists.
Expressing deep sorrow and anguish over the brutal attack, Madani called it a “crime against humanity”.
He emphasised that the act of killing innocent civilians had no basis in any religion. "Those who attempt to associate this act with Islam are clearly ignorant of its true teachings," he said.
Madani highlighted that in Islam, the unjust killing of even a single innocent person is considered the killing of all of humanity.
