At a ceremony charged with joy and emotions, 238 newly recruited police personnel; - men and women - were inducted into the J&K Police during the Passing Out Parade held at the Police training center in Manigam, central Kashmir.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha took the salute at the impressive march-past, where the young recruits—drawn from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir—displayed sharp discipline, high morale, and impeccable coordination.

Emotional scenes followed as the recruits hugged their family members and flaunted their status.
Mothers were seen hugging and kissing their sons and daughters while some chose the place to cleck selfie with their families.

Lt Governor Sinha said, “This is not just a parade—it is a declaration of dedication and duty,” said LG Sinha while addressing the young police men and women. “You are the pride of the nation and the strength of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The recruits underwent intensive training over several months, covering physical endurance, weapon handling, counter-insurgency tactics, and battlefield drills. Families of the recruits, many watching in tears, witnessed their sons don the olive green with pride.

Families had travelled from far-flung corners of Jammu and Kashmir to witness this defining moment in the lives of their sons, brothers, and friends.
