Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), the Minority wing of the RSS, has resolved that instead of getting embroiled in temple-mosque disputes, the country must focus on development and harmony.
This is an endorsement of the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent statement on a similar line.
The resolution to this effect was unanimously passed on the occasion of the 23rd foundation day of the RMM.
Appreciating Bhagwat's statement, in which he described the activities of finding mosques under temples as unnecessary, the forum said that this idea strengthens brotherhood and unity among 142 crore Indians. The forum appealed to political parties not to exploit these issues for political gain and cooperate in maintaining peace in the society.
The forum appealed to the Muslims of Sambhal and Bangladesh to seriously consider the views of Mohan Bhagwat. The forum said that Bhagwat's views are not against any community, but to unite the society and strengthen India.
