Some 350 Muslim pilgrims belonging to the Muslim Rashtriya Manch reached Ayodhya from Lucknow after a six-day journey on foot to visit Shri Ram Janambhoomi (Temple) and offer prayers to Lord Ram.

The team was led by Raja Raees, media coordinator, and Sher Ali Khan, provincial convenor of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an affiliate of the RSS.

The Muslim pilgrims were accompanied by an in-house group that managed kitchen facilities for them and they called it ‘Sita Rasoi’. The ‘padyatris covered a distance of 150 kilometers to reach the newly opened temple and to have a darshan of the deity.

The pilgrims broke their journey every 25 kilometers to rest for the night.

On this occasion, MRM Media in-charge Shahid Saeed said that the moment of having the darshan of Imam-e-Hind Ram will remain a lifelong memory with them.

Muslim devotees gave the message of unity, and integrity, and prayed for sovereignty and harmony of India at the Shri Ram Temple complex.

Muslim Rashtriya Manch believes that as long as leaders like Asauddin Owaisi are active, Indian Muslims will remain uneducated, oppressed, backward, poor, and unsafe.

Speaking inside the premises of the Temple, Raja Raees said that Ram is their ancestor.

Raja Raees and Sher Ali Khan said that our Prophet has said that love for the country is half faith. Country and humanity are paramount. Religion, religion, caste, caste, etc. are small things. The religion, method of worship, method of remembering the Supreme Being may be according to one's beliefs, but no religion teaches us to criticize the other religion or mock their prophets “Such expressions amount to an insult to faith, humanity, Islam and the country.”

The video of the Muslims visiting the temple was posted on X and shared by many including archaeologists K K Muhammad:

The Forum believes that our country, our civilization, and our Constitution do not teach hatred and that If a person visits the place of worship of a different religion, it should not be assumed that he has left his religion.

Raja Raees and Sher Khan explained that when non-Muslims visit the homes of Muslims on the occasion of Eid and Bakrid to join in the festivities and eat, and drink with their hosts, it doesn't mean that they are compromising with their religion.

"Similarly, If we participate in the bereavement of a non-Muslim, and be part of the religious ceremonies on the occasion, why should the Muslims be made to feel they have done wrong? Is the religion, faith, and Islam of Muslims so weak that it will come in danger?" Raja asked.

He said similarly, if Umer Ilyasi (President of the All India Imam Association) goes to participate in the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir and "we, 350 Muslim devotees, came to visit the temple, we are doing it to honour our country and humanity."
