New Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday celebrated Raksha Bandhan with youngsters at his residence in New Delhi. He also used the opportunity to promote the Har Ghar tiranga campaign that envisages people unfurling the national flag on their houses from August 13-15 as a mark of celebration of the 75 years of India’s independence.
In a thoughtful gesture, Modi invited the daughters of his staff members – drivers, peons, and gardeners, etc. - to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan at his residence.
After the traditional festival was celebrated, he gave tricolour to each girl for hoisting on their houses.

In between Prime Minister is also seen speaking with the children as they tie the Rakhi, symbolizing the bond of love between siblings.
