A heart-rendering incident of a Moulvi mercilessly beating little children who have come to learn religion in a madrasa in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, has created a storm on the internet with netizens and scholars demanding arrest of the abuser.
The 2: 19 minutes video posted on Twitter by a US-based Sikh activist Sukhi Chahal shows a Moulvi teaching three young children who are possibly between the age of four and six and seated across a bench. He suddenly gets into a fit of rage and starts slapping each one, one by one. It appears the children are not able to follow their teacher and that has infuriated him
Awaz the Voice has investigated and found the Moulvi in the video is Moulvi Abdul Aziz of Jaisalmer’s Faizan Garib Nawaz Madrasa, Satya.
First, he is seen slapping the chidren, then he removes the bench placed between him and the children and rains the three children with punches and slaps.
Meanwhile, one child runs away and sits among the other children. The heartless cleric chasesand brings him back to where the other terrified children are sitting on the floor. His svagery continues and he mercilessly bangs all the three on their backs.
In the last scene, the children are seen lying limp on the floor.
Child abuse by this psychologically impaired Mullahs in Madarasa is horrible, pathetic, disgusting, painful & barbaric. Imagine the dilemma of the little girls in the room by this kind of monster.
He should be arrested & jailed. Do you agree and who is Responsible?

Interestingly, while Abdul Aziz was showing his beastly behaviour other clerics present in the hall must have been silently watching one of their peers shoot the incident on his cell phone. They neither stopped him nor alerted Abdula Aziz about it.
Sukhi Chahal’s video post on Twitter has mobilised the netizens against the Moulvi. The video is going viral and is being sharing by people on different social media site.
Vivek Chaudhary of Sindh Pakistan has demanded the cleric in the video should be in jail.
Speaking with Awaz the Voice, Islamic scholar Maulana Mohammad Yehia, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, condemned the incident and said such behaviour is unpardonable. He said the virtues of patience and hard work have been given importance in Islam.
“If the children could not follow the Maulana, they should have been able to admit to him the same without fear and he should have treated them with love,” he said. Such incidents, he said, create fear of madrasa and studies in the minds of children.
Mufti Salim Kasami, Saakras, Nuh district of Haryana, said though such acts are condemnable it’s better to take the view of Darul Uloom, Deoband, on this.
Islamic Affairs scholar Prof. Akhtaru Vasay of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, said there was no need for the Moulvi to beat the children. There are polite ways of teaching them. “Children have human rights; nobody has the right to hurt them,” he said.
