On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, a festival on brother-sister bond, Indresh Kumar, chief patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an affiliate of the RSS, emphasised the need for a Secular Civil Code (UCC) for national unity and social harmony.

Calling it necessary for the unity and integrity of the country, he said that the implementation of this regulation will create an atmosphere of goodwill and equality. He also expressed his concern over the events in Bangladesh and Kolkata and the issues in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

while members of the MRM celebrated the festival, Indresh Kumar reiterated the RSS's commitment to seek the return of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir to India.

Indresh Kumar supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day that Indians need a Secular (Uniform) Civil Code.

He said it was necessary for the unity and integrity of the country and it would create an atmosphere of goodwill and equality in the society.

Kumar said that due to various personal laws, there is increasing discrimination in the society which can be eliminated by secular civil code.

He also made it clear that this code would create an equal and fair system for all citizens and was not against any particular religion or caste. The UCC, he said, would especially benefit women and weaker sections.

Indresh Kumar expressed concern over atrocities against minority communities in Bangladesh and called it a serious violation of human rights. He urged the international community to take notice and criticized Indian leaders, especially Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, for not taking concrete steps on the issue.

Expressing deep condolences over the brutality of a doctor in Kolkata, he targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He accused Mamata Banerjee of being insensitive towards women and held her responsible for the atrocities in her government.

On Pakistan, the RSS leader said, India was determined to get back the Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) which is an integral part of Indian territory. He condemned Pakistan's action of sending and sponsoring terrorism in J&K and asked the government to deal with it firmly.

He also declared Kailash Mansarovar (in China) as part of India and vowed to reclaim it

Indresh Kumar emphasized on taking concrete steps to protect the national unity and integrity of the country. He emphasized the need to maintain brotherhood, mutual love, and harmony in the society, thereby maintaining peace and harmony in the society. His ideas are likely to have a profound impact on Indian politics and society in the future.

On Raksha Bandhan, Shahid Akhtar, the national Convener of Muslim Rashtriya Manch emphasized the importance of social harmony and inclusive society.

He said that brotherhood and unity among all religions and communities are essential for building a healthy and progressive society.

Shahid Akhtar also highlighted that an inclusive society where every individual gets equal rights and respect not only promotes social peace but also helps in the development of the nation. He also said that we should forget our differences and move forward together to build a better and prosperous society. Shahid Akhtar thus tried to use this opportunity to make everyone understand the importance of social cohesion and inclusion.
