A Report published by Business Magazine Fortune India revealed Shah Rukh Khan as the highest Tax Paying Indian Celebrity.

The list published by Fortune India consists of actors across multiple Indian Industries along with prominent players of the Indian Cricket Team. Shah Rukh Khan had disbursed his tax liabilities of Rs.92 Crore for the Financial Year 2023-24.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, riding high on his latest release G.O.A.T., emerged as the second highest Income tax paying celebrity with a payment of Rs.80 Crore.

SRK had a triumphant 2023 owing to his movies Jawan and Pathaan, being the top 2 highest grossers in Bollywood. King Khan as he is fondly called by fans amasses a net worth of Rs.7,300 Crore consisting of income from salaries, production house Red Chillies Entertainment Ltd., ownership stake in IPL Team Kolkata Knight Riders among other business interests.

The list also featured big names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Mohanlal and Virat Kohli among others. Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor emerged as the highest tax paying women celebrity with a tax payment of Rs.20 Crore.
