Social media users are lapping up the allegations of anti-India bias in the American top university of Harvard made by an IPS office and the video clip of which has been posted on social media following Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman taking on those deliberately building perceptions against India.

The officer who introduces himself and is named Ameesh by a few netizens claims the league university of Cambridge, USA, is a den of anti-India sentiments. The said officer announced he is doing a year-long course at the top Ivy League American university.

In a video going viral on social media, the officer says the anti-India bias is institutionalized in Harvard and it begins with the selection of students for admission.

From the optics of the video, it seems he is speaking to an Indian audience.

He says half of the people from the private sector and NGO sector who have got admission into Harvard have written anti-India essays (a pre-qualification for admission). Anybody who gets a scholarship has to be anti-India; he has to write that he has a wretched life; Unless he writes so, he will not get the scholarship.”

In the classroom “if you speak in favour of India, you are not given so much space, Nobody stops you from speaking in favour of India, But if you speak against India you get much more space; you are applauded. And those who speak in favour of India are not canceled but certainly, they feel out of place in that space.

The video is being shared on social media and people are commenting on the American Universities fanning anti-India perceptions.
