The Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has become the centre of attention across the world. Millions of people from all over the world have been pouring into the city on the banks of Sangam, the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and mystical Saraswati to bathe on the days of specific planetary positions that occur every 12 years.
Mahakumbh mela has been the top word searched online in many Islamic countries including Pakistan, UAE and Qatar. It has also become the top trend in the social media for many days.
Sally Al Azab, a famous blogger from Abu Dhabi, is also impressed by the Mahakumbh. Describing her experience of attending the world's largest religious and cultural gathering, the Muslim woman said that it was truly an amazing event. "I came to India from the Middle East to see the Mahakumbh. It is a wonderful and amazing experience. The world's largest religious gathering is organized very beautifully. There is a lot of police for security."

Sally Al-Azab is part of a 21-member delegation from 10 different countries that visited the holy confluence age in Prayag. The delegation was invited by the Department of External Affairs, Publicity and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The delegation arrived at Mahakumbh on Wednesday and is staying at a tent city in Arail, constructed by the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation.
According to her Instagram bio, she is a civil engineer turned blogger. Sally Al-Azab, who makes videos about food and travel, shares her experiences of visiting famous tourist destinations in the world. At the time of writing this report, she has over 3.5 lakh followers on the social media platform.
The Uttar Pradesh government said in a statement that over 70 million pilgrims bathed at the Sangam in Prayagraj from January 11 to 16 during the Maha Kumbh Mela. On Thursday alone, over 3 million devotees took a dip in the holy waters of the Ganges.
