For the first time in history, the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi will host a wedding ceremony on February 12. The bride-to-be is Assistant Commandant Poonam Gupta, who has served in the Naxal-affected areas.

In an exceptional gesture, President Droupadi Murmu permitted Poonam to hold a traditional wedding at the presidential house, the first one in the grandiose Presidential house.
