The government has given Y-category security to All India Imam Organization chief Umer Ahmed Ilyasi who has been complaining of death threats.

Dr Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi is the global face of the Imam Organization and represents it at all the international fora of religion, spirituality, and interfaith dialogue. Ilyasi has alleged that he began getting death threats from U.K. numbers after he met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in September and called him the father of the nation.

Bhagwat met Ilyasi at his house last month. Bhagwat discussed steps to be taken to maintain peace and harmony in the country.

Senior RSS functionaries Krishnagopal, Ramlal, and Indresh Kumar were among those who met Ilyasi. Ilyasi later told the media that the meeting was purely private. Bhagwat ji is the father of the nation and the sage of the nation.

He came to my house, it is an honor. At the same time, it was said on behalf of the RSS about the meeting that the organization keeps talking to Umar Ahmed Ilyasi continuously. His father was also met by former RSS chief Kupp C. Sudarshan. Meeting people is part of the daily work of the RSS.

All India Imam Organization legitimcalls itself the legitimate voice of half a million Imams of India who are the religious and spiritual guide of 210 million Indian Muslims. Iti s the largest Imam Organization in the world and is so uniquely placed that prominent national and global bodies belonging to all walks of life utilize its service.
