London
A London resident Muhammad Malik has done the most unimaginable; he put up huge hoardings in search for a bride for himself in Birmingham, UK.
No wonder, Malik, 29, has been flooded with proposals
Malik claimed on the billboard that he wanted to avoid an arranged marriage. So he was looking for a girl he could marry after deciding for himself.
He said his invitation is for women to become his girlfriends and then after interactions he could decide on who he wanted to marry.
Malik had received 5,000 offer by women who want to be his girlfriends.
The sight of the huge hoarding of a Muslim youth on the streets was shocking and amusing at the same time. May be he also wanted to highlight the unacceptable method of south Asians choosing brides and grooms for their grownup children and arranging their wedding.
However, interestingly, Malik broke many hearts as he was unable to handle the 5000 proposals and therefore switched over to a dating app.
Mohammad Malik also wrote on Twitter that people can search for him on the Muslim dating app Muzmatch. However, many people reacted and said this could be a publicity stunt for Muzmach app.
In addition, many people have claimed on social media that Muhammad Malik was already married. The billboards read, "Save me from an arranged marriage."
