Saudi Arabia stunned South American giant Argentina 2-1 in their Group C encounter in the ongoing FIFA world cup in Qatar.
The defeat of former world champions ended their 36-match unbeaten streak.
For Argentina Lonel Messi scored the goal via a penalty in the 10th minute. For Saudi Arabia Alshehri and Salem were the goal scorers in the 48th and the 53rd minute.
With two goals in a space of five minutes, the Asian team dealt one of the greatest upsets in the history of FIFA world cup.
Saudi Arabia now leads the group with 3 points, while Argentina is at bottom.
