Musheer Khan, the 18-year-old Mumbai batsman has been the biggest discovery of Indian cricket during the ongoing CC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 in South Africa.
Musheer scored two centuries and has become the only player to have scored more than a singleton in the ongoing tournament.
Musheer Khan is the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, who is in line to make his international debut for India in the coming weeks as he has recently been included in the Indian team as a replacement for KL Rahul for the second match of the ongoing five-match Test series against England.
Musheer Khan started his career when he represented Mumbai Cricket in various age groups and then made his first-class (FC) debut at the age of 16.
The right-handed batsman Musheer played three FC matches for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and scored 96 runs in 5 innings. Musheer also took two wickets in his short FC career.

Musheer Khan had to struggle a bit at the beginning of his Under-16 cricket days, but now he looks a better version of himself in the ongoing ICC Under-19 World Cup 2024 being played in South Africa.
Musheer Khan has scored 325 runs in 4 innings so far. He became the second Indian batsman after Shikhar Dhawan to score multiple centuries in a single edition of the ICC U19 World Cup.
Musheer Khan also took 4 wickets in 4 matches. India will play Nepal in its next Super Six match on 2 February at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein. A victory against Nepal will secure India's place in the U19 World Cup 2024 semi-finals.
Musheer Khan is one of the youngest players in the IPL auction. Musheer Khan is among the group of 18 players under the age of 19 who have been part of the auction. He was born on 27 February 2005, making him the fifth youngest player in the IPL 2024 auction.
He is the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan the star batsman of the Mumbai team. Sarfaraz also became famous in the cricket world at a very young age. The elder brother is one of the few Indian players to have played in two Under-19 World Cups (2014 and 2016).

Sarfaraz has represented Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. However, he is yet to leave his mark in the competition.
He has already played three Ranji matches for Mumbai. The 1-year old cricketer has already played for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy. He scored 96 runs in five innings. The right-handed batsman has shown versatility by opening the innings for Mumbai along with batting in the lower middle order.
The left-arm orthodox spinner has taken two wickets. He scored 2-11 in a few overs in the fourth innings against Assam.
He and Prithvi Shaw opened the innings and scored 42 and 379 runs respectively. Mumbai won the game by an innings and 128 runs.
Musheer recently scored 127 runs off just 47 balls and took 2-53 in the final of the quadrangular series for India A Under-19. In the Under-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he was the fourth-highest run-scorer with 438 runs.
