The chocolates made by Pakeeza Saikia, a resident of Guwahati, Assam, have hugely become popular as a healthy and delicious gift to be given to Children and elders alike on Christmas.

Pakeeza’s healthy handmade chocolates were recently sold like hot cake at the pre-Christmas fair held at Nedfi Haat in the city.

"I am usually involved in bakery work. I make various types of cakes, biscuits, garlic bread, pizza, cheese bread, butter biscuits, nankata, laddu.”

Initially, she made cakes.” Since I was baking cakes and these turned out to be healthy, I started making chocolate at home every morning after Fajr prayer and after I was done with chores at the house by 9 am. My chocolates were well received this year at the pre-Christmas fair where I offered a variety of healthy handmade chocolates and cakes. My cakes and chocolates were also bought by people of all religions and not only Christians,” Pakeeza told Awaz-the Voice, Assam.

Chocolate is the most popular food and flavor in the world. Chocolate is a key ingredient in many food products, especially cakes, puddings, mousse, chocolate brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. Many candies contain chocolate or are coated with chocolate.

Chocolate bars are made with hard chocolate or other chocolate-coated ingredients. It is eaten as a snack. During festivals like Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, etc., chocolates in various shapes are given as gifts.

"The chocolate business is profitable as it’s loved by all classes of people from children to old people.” Said Pakeeza, who participated in the food category competition from Assam at the Ashtalakshmi Festival held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi recently.

“It is good for every class of people to eat chocolate.  There are different brands and types of chocolate available in the market. Therefore, I think that chocolate making is an important business that people can do very easily The USP can be packaging. Chocolate should be packaged attractively ".

She says chocolates are being given as gifts on birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Bihu, and other occasions.

"I love making chocolate because it makes me feel stress-free and happy. I want to do a lot of work on chocolate. I am a chocolate variety in the future," she said Currently I produce a total of 100 different designs and flavors of chocolate for Rs. 20 to Rs. 500 per hour Chocolates are available for gifts. Pakeeza, who makes chocolate without any training, says the tempting smell of chocolate makes her feel stress-free and happy. He has so far produced 10 to 15 types of chocolates and supplied them to customers.
