Financial help and moral support for the family of the Pahalgam terrorist attack hero Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who tried to protect tourists from the bullets of terrorists and was killed in retaliation, has started pouring in from all over the country.
Syed Adil Hussain, a Pahari tribesman who supported his family by ferrying tourists on his pony from Pahalgam to different destinations, was killed as he tried to argue with the Pakistan-backed terrorists who were asking the largely Hindu tourists to read Kalma (the opening paragraph of the Quran). Other ponywallahs present there said he even tried to snatch the gun from a terrorist who shot him in the neck.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a pony ride operator who is being hailed as a hero for sacrificing his life while protecting tourists during the Pahalgam terror attack.
The 20-year-old tried to shield a tourist traveling on his horse and even attempted to snatch a rifle from one of the terrorists. Tragically, he was shot and killed by the attackers. Locals paid tributes to Adil in this video posted on X:

Touched by Syed’s brave act, Shinde also decided to build a house for them. He spoke to the family on the phone and promised his support.
On Friday, a Shiv Sena representative visited Pahalgam and gave the cheque to Syed’s family. At the same time, the DyCM spoke to the family through a video call to offer his support and condolences.
Syed, who used to offer horse rides to tourists in Pahalgam, displayed extraordinary courage and humanity in the face of terror, sacrificing his life to protect others.
BJP leaders are visiting their homes and offering condolences to his family.
Syed Ayub of Hyderabad Youth Courage NGO, recently visited Adil's family to condole his death and also offered a cheque of an unspecified amount to his wife. He posted this video n instagram:
His family not only lost the breadwinner but also lamented that his sacrifice was not adequately highlighted.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited his home and attended his funeral. Abdullah assured them to take care of the family and give the brave heart his due.
